N4N X BIG PICTURE PROGRAM After two years of planning and preparation, the N4N x Big Picture Program officially came to life this spring. From January through May, seven students from Big Picture High School traveled between school and the studio, fully immersing themselves in the creative process. Throughout the program, youth explored songwriting, collaboration, recording, production, and creative leadership while developing confidence both artistically and personally. Together, they created four fully realized tracks and documented the journey through testimonials that captured their growth over the course of five months.
MAY DRUM COMPETITION
The final drum competition of the school year brought another unforgettable moment of energy and community to the Nashville East studio. Youth from across the community center gathered to cheer on their peers as competitors performed songs like “Kiss” by Prince and “The Sweater Song” by Weezer. What continues to make these competitions so impactful is not just the musicianship on display, but the atmosphere surrounding it —students encouraging one another, celebrating growth, and treating each competition like a major community event. The excitement surrounding the final winner announcement reminded everyone just how much these monthly competitions have become a beloved tradition within the space.
