TY BANDS- EP IN THE WORKS Tyrell, in addition to finishing his GED at commonpoint, has been diligently coming to the studio to record tracks for his new EP. The goal of this EP has been to challenge him to write over many beats of varying styles, further pushing his flexibility as an artist. I am beyond impressed by his constant motivation and drive. INTRO TO ENGINEERING AND PRODUCTION Emirih came in learned the basics of production, and together we created his first beat! Later in an instructional session, we had Heila hop in the producer’s chair to engineer while our intern Jason laid down some vocals. She learned how to record and cut audio, and even came up with the topics for Jason to sing about. Collaboration is powerful in music! Click the link to hear the final product.
