GO AJ, GO AJ!!!
The DJ station has been a hit this month! The youth have been experimenting with many different effects knobs and turntables. It’s an addictive controller with many cool and new features that youth find fun and fascinating. It has been a great to tool for teaching bpm, equalization, and scratching techniques. It has also been a great tool for introducing new styles and and genres that the youth have not yet been exposed to. Watch out for these future DJ’s. They just might be spinning at your next social event!
AJ surprised us this week with his amazing vocal abilities. AJ is a huge fan of SZA and can sing many of her songs by memory. Aj has a great sense of pitch and time which is not so common for a youth of his age. With his newly found vocal abilities, N4N Producer Iram Reyes and AJ are now working towards developing his song writing skills in order to start writing and recording original music. Watch out for this up and coming power house. You won't want to miss this!
