“BEACH TRIP”-AVA, OLIVIA, GEORGIA This upbeat dance track was inspired by beach days with friends. Ava chose the loops, Olivia led the lyrics, and all three added their voices, learning to turn different ideas into one finished song.
“GHOST”-LEVIATHAN CLASS Joshua (17) presents a demo prog-rock track full of intricate rhythms, harmonies, and a dramatic breakdown. Joshua composed the track, with MIDI drums and additional production handled by the studio. Final mix coming soon!

Jesus (14) and Lily (8) teamed up with volunteer Rico to create this track. Jesus played drums on an analog drum machine, Rico added keys, and Lily’s vocals complete the song. A fun, collaborative piece from our newest studio members!

“DREAMING”-AVA, OLIVIA, GEORGIA A two-part podcast exploring dreams! Part I shares imaginative sleeping dreams, and Part II covers real-life dreams for the future. The group’s energy and ideas make for a fun, inspiring conversation.

BACK IN THE STUDIO The Notes For Notes studio is buzzing again now that youth are back making music. Lily, 8, tracked vocals on her song Da Da Da, a collaboration with 14-year-old Jesus on drums who used an analog drum sampler. Volunteer Rico added keyboards and helped guide the session, keeping everything on track. The kids focused and supported each other as the track came together, showing how the studio gives them a space to explore music, try new ideas, and collaborate while building skills in a supportive environment.
VOLUNTEER RICO RETURNS We’re happy to have volunteer Rico back in the studio. On his first day, he helped produce Da Da Da and brought guidance and encouragement to the session. The youth were excited to see him again, and he’s already working with Lily on her next track. Volunteers like Rico make a difference by sharing knowledge and helping the kids feel confident as they explore music and develop their own creative ideas.
