MAR 2026 LINER NOTES

YOUTH OF THE YEAR It came as no surprise that Devin was named Youth of the Year for 2026. He’s put in so much work during his senior year, and it’s great to see that dedication finally pay off. Congratulations, Devin —you earned it.
BEAT COMPETITION Sometimes the best way to motivate the youth is through a little competition. I had a group of boys go up against a group of girls to see who could create the best beat. Both teams did an amazing job, but of course, there had to be some winners.

We’ve had a drum machine pad in the studio for a while now, and since some people have had trouble jumping onto the full acoustic drum set, it’s been great to see youth like Lily and Calil step in and really explore the drum pad. It’s all about finding different ways to get comfortable with music.

FOLDED As always, I’m encouraging the youth to play live instruments, so it’s exciting to see the girls practicing and performing their chosen song, “Folded.” Moments like these are what the studio is all about.

Juliette Juliette is new to the studio, but not new to the clubhouse. Her sister Lily is already a member and encouraged her to check it out. If Juliette has even half the talent Lily does, she’s going to have an incredible experience here.
BASS/SINGER When I first met Aviva, she was shy but clearly eager to get involved. Once her friend started playing, she wanted to try instruments too, so I suggested drums. Then she decided she wanted to sing as well—and it turns out she can do both at the same time, with an amazing voice. Definitely one to watch.
