ROCK STARS AT HEART
A great big welcome to E! E is one of our newest members to the organization. His passion is the piano and he aspires to be a classically trained pianist. E attends a weekly lesson with N4N producer Iram Reyes where he learns about music theory, sight-reading, and concert repertoire. Within a month, E has learned how to read a musical staff, notes and rhythms, hand technique, and how to practice with a metronome.
The Duffie Rec Center youth are regulars in the studio and they love to take full advantage of the facilities. It’s not unusual to see them work in groups and jump from producing, to podcasting, to jam sessions in the jam room. In the picture above, Mae & Luna are rockin out to drum beats and guitar riffs. Once they have gotten their shred on, they love to record podcasts, produce beats, and write lyrics.
