PLAY THE NOTES, GUESS THE SONG: PIANO LAB SERIES (JUNE ‘26) Play & Guess Piano Lab Series continues to be a program favorite, challenging youth to sharpen their listening skills, build musical confidence, and engage with music through interactive, hands-on fun.
BGCM (TTC) FIELD TRIPS TO THE STU Many of the youth stepped into a recording studio for the very first time. Participants collaborated in teams to create original jingles for well-known brands before wrapping up the experience with a fun, youth-led podcast that gave everyone a chance to share their creativity, ideas, and personalities.

MPLOY “LUNCH BREAK” PODCAST SERIES Through MPLOY, the City of Memphis' summer youth employment program, young adults gain valuable workplace experience—and during their lunch breaks, many continue that growth in the Notes for Notes (N4N) studio. Each Lunch Break Session features authentic, unscripted podcast conversations with no judgment, no pressure—just honest dialogue that provides a creative outlet to decompress, reflect, laugh, vent, share stories, and document their personal and professional journeys. Stay tuned —you won't want to miss these conversations and the voices behind them.
NOTES FOR NOTES x YOUTH VILLAGES — “DREAM BIG” SONGWRITING CHALLENGE The Dream Big Songwriting Challenge, hosted by Youth Villages in collaboration with Notes for Notes, gave young artists the opportunity to bring their original songs to life. Winning participants were rewarded with a professional studio recording and custom music production from the Notes for Notes Memphis studio. While every submission showcased incredible creativity and talent, one track rose to the top—"BIG DAWG" by Kidd Chaos. It was simply too good not to share, and we can't wait for you to hear it.
