Kevin had not been in the studio in a while and he came in on this day looking to make something light and fun for the summer! One of the main focuses on this track was adding in a bridge which we haven't done before.
Sisterhood Beat - Juniors Nylah, Mehkia, Kashmir and Zeneiaia came in really feeling their friendship and sisterhood vibes so they put together a fun beat with a cool vocal hook!
Juice! - Nylia, Mehkia Mehkia and Nylia came into the studio wanting to do a super fun freestyle. They decided on writting all about Juice! We came up with a little chorus and then let them freestyle.

Junior Beat This was a fun way to get the juniors engaged in making music. They would come in and all add different things they liked to this beat. It was a bit of a free for all but the Juniors ended up really liking what they made!

Saxophone! One of our Junior members Amber recently got a saxophone! She brought it in to the studio one day and we got to learning some Michael Jackson. This was an awesome way for her to learn as well as for her peers to get exposure to an instrument that’s not normally in our studio! Recordings soon to come!
Pajama Day Karaoke Pajama day is always fun for the youth at the Navy Yard. To add into the party we opened up the studio for a fun pajama day karaoke event! Everything from Michael Jackson to Katseye!
