LOVE-LIL YANI AND SYDNEY This song started as a songwriting exercise in our Beat Club workshop, where the assignment was to create a beat that sounded like a 90s hip hop style. Iyana and Sydney are both in the 8th grade and have been member since N4N since 2023 and 2025, respectively.

COMING BACK 2 U ASydney and Iyana had some to things to say about broken hearts and lost loves, a recurring topic amongst our teen crowd. Youth are encouraged to use music as a way to talk about their feelings and share their personal stories, and we're glad to see Sydney and Iyana take on the challenge.

The Rhyme Game We had some early Explorers come in and get a taste of our songwriting workshop. For this age group, I typically try to stay away from all the more intermediate level theory and just get them used to flexing their own innate skills, while guiding them along the way. Iyana Helps Sydney Write A Track Sydney and Iyana have been quite the dynamic duo lately. First they dropped a fun Christmas jam, Christmas Time is Here. Now Sydney, after experiencing some personal challenges needed an opportunity to express herself by writing a song. She enlisted the help of Iyana, who helped her develop a super smooth break up song to overcome the heartbreak. Iyana has proven herself to be a loyal and helpful contributor with everyone in the program, and especially to her friends. Watch them work!
