PIANO X N4N JAM SESSION On the first Friday of every month, Mr. Silva and I run a jam session for the youth. As of right now we are learning the basics of playing different instruments together with music games. Eventually we are going to try to get the youth to learn to play songs together. We had a great time with the first one and everyone is looking forward to learning and improving with each session!
BASICS OF RECORDING Elon has been showing interest in production, specifically recording. Together, we were able to learn about how to mic the individual drums and cymbals of the drum set, and how the sound changes depending on how close or how far the mic is from the instrument. We used the instruments we recorded to make our own beat.
