On this track, Vivian interviewed members around the Boys & Girls Club to get their thoughts on love. Their conversations capture different perspectives, and the track brings their voices together to celebrate connection, care, and the ways love shows up in life.

“ANTHONY CRAWFORD”- JOSHUA Joshua explores the work of musician Anthony Crawford, spotlighting his standout bass performances. He also plays several of Crawford’s bass riffs, showcasing both his admiration for Crawford’s artistry and his own growing musical skills.

“REAPER”-LEVIATHAN CLASS Although still a demo, Joshua’s second track is nearly finished! Joshua composed everything and played all the bass, as well as some guitars. The track has been fully mixed and has now been sent off for mastering. Stay tuned for the official release!

“FAME OVER DEMISE” This youth is 11 and has been with the studio since 2024. They’ve been going through a tough time, and this song is one of the pieces helping them through it. It features guitars and strings, no vocals. The strings section was especially fun to work on. Enjoy!

STUDIO FINALLY REPAIRED! The Notes For Notes studio, which was previously damaged due to flooding, has had its walls repaired and is ready for use once again. The team has begun moving gear from the temporary space back into the studio, thanks to the dedication of staff, volunteers, and club members who helped make the transition smooth! With the studio soon in working order, youth participants will be able to return to a safe and fully functional space to explore music, collaborate with peers, and continue building their creative skills.

TEMP SPACE, FULL SCHEDULE Even while operating from a temporary space, the program has maintained a busy and productive schedule. We shifted our focus to band practice, with youth bands learning and performing new songs including “Just What I Needed” by The Cars, “The 30th” by Billie Eilish, “Man Who Sold the World” by David Bowie, and “Good Riddance” by Green Day. Continuing to engage youth in music even outside the main studio has reinforced their commitment and enthusiasm for learning!
