MUSICAL BINGO Our first-ever Musical Bingo session introduced a brand-new way for youth to engage with music together. While the turnout in the gym was smaller than expected, the energy in the room quickly proved that the idea was something special. As songs played and participants raced to recognize artists, melodies, and genres, excitement filled the space with laughter, friendly competition, and shared discovery. What began as a simple listening game quickly transformed into a celebration of musical knowledge and community. By the end of the session, youth were already asking when it would return, making it clear that Musical Bingo may very well become a new studio tradition.
UKELELE JAM ROOM JAM
One of the studio’s ongoing goals has been encouraging youth to learn the classic melody “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” on whatever instrument they choose, using the song as a gateway into musicianship. In this moment, McCartney took the Jam Room stage to perform the melody live on the ukulele, an instrument she has been learning over the past few weeks with guidance from Miss Gigi. What may sound like a simple song represents something much bigger, the discipline of learning an instrument, the confidence to perform, and the excitement of mastering a first piece of music. Moments like this mark the beginning of a lifelong relationship with creativity and musical expression.
