Our third block students collaborated with nationally recognized comedian Myron Jewell to develop and produce the podcast Hallway Conversations Unfiltered, gaining hands-on experience in creative direction, content development, and media production.

MELINDA - MISUNDERSTOOD COVER In recognition of Black History Month, Melinda delivered a vocal performance of “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” by Nina Simone, honoring the legacy and cultural impact of the iconic artist.

REGINAE - JERSEY SHORE Reginae produced a high-energy, Jersey club–inspired track, incorporating an upbeat vocal sample to create a dynamic and engaging rhythm that reflects her growing skills in music production.

DEMARIO - NO SKIPS VOL. 1 As his initial exercise in learning Serato, Demario curated and prepared a DJ mix featuring a selection of high-energy rap tracks, demonstrating his developing skills in blending, timing, and track selection.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH - CITY HALL Notes for Notes students were honored to perform as part of the City of Milwaukee’s official Black History Month celebration held at Milwaukee City Hall, showcasing their talents in a distinguished public program that highlighted music and cultural expression as part of the broader 28 Days of Black History initiative.

MENTORSHIP WITH BIZNESS BOI Through Notes for Notes, Darius had the opportunity to connect with Grammy Award– winning producer Bizness Boi for a one-on-one mentorship experience. Best known for his work with major artists across hip-hop and R&B, Bizness Boi has contributed to chart-topping records and platinum-selling projects, bringing industry-level insight and expertise.
