At our Franklin studio, one of our youth, Talia, has set her heart on covering “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars. Drawn to the song’s uplifting message about friendship and loyalty, she’s been working hard to capture its positive energy while adding her own personality to the performance.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH Hailey and Isabella have been collaborating on an original song for Black History Month titled “Forever,” a heartfelt anthem centered on togetherness, unity, and loving one another through every season. Renee drove home the message with a powerful monologue at the end.
FRANKLIN BEHIND THE SCENES This month’s behind the scenes showcases working at the east studio, sing-a-longs, song contruction, rehearsals for events, and the youth’s performance at leading a service at a local church on the 27th of February.

WORKING WITH THE FAMILY Hailey and Isabella truly rose to the occasion in completing their original song, “Forever,” which was proudly featured on this year’s Black History Month project. From co-writing meaningful lyrics to helping produce the track, they worked side by side through every stage of the creative process. There were challenging moments along the way, but instead of giving up, they leaned on each other, stayed focused on their message of unity and love, and pushed through until the song was finished. Watching them grow—not just as artists, but as collaborators—has been incredible.
PLAYING A ROLE Renee and Ethan recently decided to team up on a new track, bringing together their individual strengths in a really creative way. Renee took the lead on my personal laptop, writing lyrics and mapping out production ideas, carefully shaping the direction and feel of the song. At the same time, Ethan recorded vocal chops, experimenting with different tones and rhythms that could be layered throughout the track. Their collaboration felt intentional and balanced—Renee building the foundation while Ethan added texture and movement with his vocals.
