Michael had finally learned all the steps to craft a beat with little to no guidance from me, and after getting back in the studio to test what he'd learned, he ended up making his favorite project to date(Hence the title he chose to give the song).
PRETTIEST FLOWER IN THE GARDEN My first session with Keanna culminated in a beautiful R&B track that she was able to knock out vocal recording in a single day. The song is thematic and reflective on self-love and inner beauty, and it was also her first time attempting to stack vocal harmonies as I helped her identify harmonic lines.
I DONT WANNA SAY GOODBYE Moises is planning a full album featuring the tracks that we've worked on together so far. For this specific day he wanted to try something in the style of nostalgic punk-rock to contrast the softer, slower tracks on the project. This track challenged him to hit very high notes in his vocal range and he delivered!

SUCCUBUS HEAT PODCAST-LARENA Larena visited our studio to work on a podcast in lieu of a beat on day, speaking at length about a book she had recently finished. We recorded her thoughts as she summarizes the story and characters. She then touches on the deeper themes she observed from the novel. This was her first podcast so it was great practice for her to implement public speaking skills.

RISING GOSPEL DRUMMER-CHRIS Our long-time member, Chris, is a passionate and gifted young drummer on his journey to practice and emulate the church drummers he looks up to in the community. We have been throwing on gospel tracks to play along to and recreating the fills we hear, it’s been a great challenge and his drumming has developed and matured immensely over the past year!
N4N- WHAT ARE THE NOTES? Junior members Keliani and Emily sat down on the keys for an important intruductory quiz....what are the names of the notes on the piano? We discussed at length all the theory behind notes on the keyboard, their relationships to eachother, and how to put them together to make major and minor scales. Soon they will put their skills to the test with a piano duet where we’ll arrange one of their favorite songs.
