THE ORIGIN OF K-POP PODCAST

BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Every year, N4N makes a project for Black History Month, and this year’s project is named “Black Gold” to honor the history of our favorite songs and genres. Mia and Alia contributed on behalf of Excelsior, by explaining the origin of 90s K-Pop, which originates from African American music and culture. Listen at the link above!

The youth celebrated Black History Month during a special Community Meeting. We sang “So Strong” and played Four Corners Trivia, using questions about important events and people. The youth were too good at the trivia to be stumped, and got most of the questions correct.
