This month we focused a lot on songwriting, mainly with guitar and digital music. As a lot of youth come in for guitar lessons, we are starting to turn these lessons into writing sessions! Jakaree (pictured above) is working on writing her first song after taking lessons for 4 months!
Starting this month, the Franklin studio has been teaching the youth how to navigate certain platforms and recording softwares. Doing so has brought a lot of interest to the recording process itself.

By getting deep into the inner workings of recording, the youth gain a sense of what they should and should not do in a professional studio environment.
