It’s Christmas
Notes for Notes proudly participated in the annual Franklin Christmas Parade, bringing music and youth voices to the heart of the community. Riding on a festively decorated Notes for Notes–branded float, over eight talented youth performers sang holiday songs for parade attendees lining the streets. The float served as a moving stage, showcasing the confidence and musical growth of the young artists. Community members responded with cheers and applause, highlighting the powerful connection between music and community celebration
“It’s Christmas” is an original song written, produced, and recorded by youth artists Sahvanna, Alayna, and John. Sahvanna and Alayna played key roles in shaping the production and creating the chorus, bringing the song’s festive and melodic foundation to life. John contributed a verse that intentionally applied techniques learned during our lyrical development sessions, showcasing his growth as a songwriter. Together, the trio created a meaningful holiday track that reflects collaboration, creativity, and skill development.

Scary Halloween
Many, many beats
Getting a head start
“Scary Halloween” is a dance track put together by Adiya, Kiki, Cynthia, and Lexie. Adiya and Cynthia led the production and vocal production, shaping the song’s driving rhythm and polished sound. Kiki and Lexie contributed dynamic vocals and incorporated creative audio tricks, including using scissors as hi-hats, along with other organic sounds, to add texture and excitement. The result is a playful, innovative track that highlights teamwork, experimentation, and youth creativity.
Starting in the fall, we have been absolutely cranking out beats with youth. Together, we have been able to create almost 100 beats that have been made since early october. We have collaborated with platinum producers on some of these as well such as Desm9s, Stefanccino, PBell, Chrome, and Bailey Sample.
The annual Steak and Burger Dinner is not until the fall, but we are getting ready. The evening will feature an appearance by one of our star guitar students, John Snyder. Other youth performers have also begun preparing, making this event a meaningful showcase of talent, growth, and community support.
