Lamiya “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” Drumming Progression

16-year-old Lamiya didn’t how to play instruments when she came to the N4N studio 4 years ago. Since then, she’s learned how to play guitar, bass, piano, and has built up the courage to sing on stage. All she had left to tackle was the drums, which she picked up very quickly. Watch how she learned “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” by Joan Jett!
Brooklyn Girls Jam Some days are all about making some noise with your favorite girls! Singer/multiinstrumentalist Lamiya just started drumming and is learning how to play “Highway To Hell” by AC/DC. She also learned the guitar part for Willow’s new song “Transparent Soul,” a tune that vocalist Kiara was singing. Along with our (very shy) drummer Jermaya, we jammed on Willow’s song; a perfect way to spend a Thursday evening!
Faith’s New Song, Inspired by Classical Music
Faith has been playing violin ever since she can remember. Her long-standing love for classical music has started to bleed into her more recent interest in pop songwriting. We started working on an Ariana Grande-style pop song inspired by violin pizzicato. Excited to see where this genre fusion will take us! DONATE
