SONGS COMING SOON As the first week of school comes to an end, youth have gotten a feel for the program and are settling into the studio routine. They’re excited to work on their original music each day, putting in the time and effort to develop their ideas, strengthen their skills, and bring their creative projects to life.

LEARNING THE ROPES For youth who are new to the program, the school year will be an opportunity to discover what it takes to create music in a recording studio. They’ll learn the basics of songwriting, beat selection, recording techniques, microphones, studio equipment, and how to turn their ideas into complete songs. Through guided sessions and creative activities, they’ll build confidence behind the mic while developing the skills needed to create and record their own original music.
BACK TO WORK As youth return to school, they’re bringing their creativity back into the studio and getting ready to record new music for the school year. These sessions will give them an opportunity to turn their school experiences, friendships, goals, challenges, and everyday moments into original songs. With school-inspired themes and fresh ideas, youth will collaborate, write, record, and build confidence while creating a new collection of songs throughout the year.
