7 NATION ARMY LIVE COVER Ramsey, one of our most talented young musicians, took the drums alongside Gigi on bass for a live cover of “Seven Nation Army.” Ramsey has a natural ability to pick up new songs quickly and continues to grow into a highly skilled drummer. It’s especially exciting to watch her follow in the musical footsteps of her older sister, Skylar, while also building her own identity as a musician. Getting to see Ramsey confidently perform alongside one of our staff members is a great example of how quickly youth can develop when they’re given opportunities to play, collaborate, and learn in a supportive environment.
PUREPOSE EP DAY 1 The Amani Montessori girls kicked off the first day of their Purpose EP by beginning work on their first original song. With a planned release for November, the group has already started taking ownership of the project by discussing the genre, sound, and overall vibe they want to create. It’s exciting to watch them collaborate, exchange ideas, and make creative decisions at such a young age. Rather than simply being involved in the recording process, they’re actively shaping their own artistic direction and learning what it means to bring an idea from concept to reality.

JAM ROOM JAM The Amani Montessori boys are beginning to discover their creative interests through live instrumentation. Working alongside Gigi, they’ve been learning the fundamentals of playing instruments by jamming along to music they already know and enjoy. Playing along with familiar songs gives them a comfortable way to build confidence while developing their timing, listening, and musical instincts. It’s been exciting to watch them experiment, ask questions, and figure out what sparks their interest. Moments like this are a reminder that sometimes the best way to discover a passion is simply to pick up an instrument and start playing.
JAMROOM RHYTHM SESSION Tiffany took the lead on drums during this jam room session, with her friends joining in on percussion. Together, they worked on finding a basic rhythm, staying in time, and learning how to listen and respond to one another musically. What makes moments like this special is that there doesn’t have to be a finished song or formal lesson for meaningful learning to happen. The youth were developing their timing, coordination, and confidence simply by playing together. Tiffany leading the rhythm while her peers accompanied her created a great example of youth-driven collaboration in the jam room.
NASHVILLE SOUNDS GUITAR GIVE AWAY Cameron and I took N4N to the Nashville Sounds game for a community outreach opportunity, setting up under the Jumbotron to connect with families, share our mission, and introduce more youth to our studio programs. Alongside the outreach, we hosted a guitar giveaway where youth could enter by guessing how many guitar picks were in a jar. One young participant somehow guessed the exact number, winning the guitar on the spot! It was a fun and memorable moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the event connecting with the community.
