Leiry and Kealyn met this summer and instantly connected over their shared love of music. They brought other youth together to perform one of their favorite songs, creating a great moment for the whole studio.

JUNIOR KARAOKE This year’s studio obsession was “Midnight Sun” by Zara Lawson. Since opening the studio more to Juniors and Explorers, karaoke has become a favorite. With the lights low, mics on, and lyrics glowing on the TV, they turn the studio into their own stage.

POETRY Kaleena, a talented guitar player, has recently discovered a passion for spoken word poetry. After hosting a previous talent show, she caught the poetry bug and now loves recording her writing. It’s great to see her embrace her voice and creativity.

AFTERTASTE It was Arymus who first came to me with the idea of bringing his friends to the studio to play together. Ever since Kealyn and Lucia made the studio their own by creating an original song and performing it for our Summer Tiny Desk, I’ve wanted to see more youth take that same initiative. It’s exciting to see Arymus now doing just that and creating a space for his friends to make music together.
END OF SUMMER BAND Madison, Alyson, and Mateo came together to perform for our End-of-Summer Show, and they brought so much confidence and talent to the stage. It was great to see them work together, support each other, and put on a performance they could be proud of.
