“POOL PARTY- AVA, OLIVIA, & GEORGIA” This upbeat dance track was created through collaboration, with Ava leading the beat, Olivia helping shape the arrangement, and Georgia adding ideas and energy throughout.

LOGIC PRO BEAT BUILDING It’s been great seeing more youth getting excited to get on the computer and navigate within a DAW. They are learning Logic Pro and are experimenting with arranging, layering sounds, and building complete tracks from scratch. A recent challenge had them choose a tempo, genre, and key, then build a beat that lasted at least one minute. It’s been awesome watching participants stay focused and creative through the full process.
PEER-TO-PEER LEARNING We’ve also been seeing something really positive happening between the youth themselves: more peer-to-peer teaching. Students are taking initiative to help others learn what they’ve picked up so far. Whether it’s showing someone how to navigate Logic or play a riff on bass guitar, there’s a strong sense of collaboration forming. It’s been encouraging to see youth become more confident while supporting each other.
