SONG EXPLORATION PODCAST The Franklin Song Exploration Podcast features two youth diving into three different songs each episode, breaking down what stands out to them musically and emotionally. They share honest opinions on what they liked and didn’t like, creating thoughtful and engaging conversations around each track.

THE CLIMB Talia delivered a heartfelt cover of “The Climb,” showcasing her vocal strength and emotional expression. Her performance reflects both her growth as an artist and her ability to connect deeply with meaningful songs.

Cam recently released a cover of “Orange Juice,” showcasing both emotional depth and growing vocal confidence. Through this performance, they demonstrated a strong ability to connect with the song’s tone while adding their own unique style.

EXTENDING SKILLSETS Renee has been developing hands-on skills in the studio by learning how to properly tune and replace drumheads. With the help of a recent donation to the Franklin studio, she’s been able to work directly with new equipment and gain real-world experience maintaining a drum kit. Through this process, Renee is building both technical knowledge and confidence in her abilities. Her curiosity and willingness to learn have made her growth especially exciting to watch.

STARTING A BAND Khalil, Hailey, and Lincoln are collaborating on their first track together, bringing their individual talents into a shared creative process. As they work, they’re learning how to listen to each other, build ideas collectively, and shape a sound that represents all three of them. Each session shows growth in both their musical skills and their ability to communicate and collaborate. This project marks an exciting step as they begin developing their identity as a group
