About 16 members gathered at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Sunday, November 27th for a much-anticipated “in-person” Christmas Party. After a delicious turkey dinner served by Remi’s Catering, Marion led us in a Christmas Carol contest, followed by a beading activity complete with personalized beads for everyone!
In lieu of the silent auction this year, members donated towards an over owing basket of Christmas dinner xings which Marion presented to the Food Bank, along with $100. Thanks to everyone for their participation!
Glue Bottle Dazzler Stoppers
Supplies
2 Dazzlers (collection of various sized beads on a head pin –overall length approx. 1½”)
2 coordinating beads (larger)
4 jump rings
Approx. 2½” length of chain
One 2” pin with small bead and earring back
Directions
Attach one Dazzler to one end of chain with jump ring. Attach one individual bead to the other end of the chain with jump ring.
Attach remaining Dazzler and individual beads at random spots on chain.
Insert long pin with bead into chain and place earring back on end of pin to hold it in place. Place the pin, dazzler and beads so that they will hang at various lengths from the chain.
Can be used in a glue bottle as a stopper or attached to a paper clip for use as a decorative book mark.
