Homecoming at NFA By: Alex Greenwald and Zo Jackson This year’s Homecoming at NFA was full of excitement from start to finish. The weekend kicked off with football and continued with both JV and varsity soccer and field hockey games. Varsity soccer lost 4–1, JV soccer lost 1–0, JV field hockey tied 0–0, varsity field hockey won 3–1, and the football team finished the day strong with a 33–0 victory. We spoke to two students who participated in Homecoming: Connor Dalbey and Desmond Baselice. When we asked Desmond, “What was your favorite part of Homecoming?” He said, “Working together with my teammates.” He explained that great soccer teams communicate and pass the ball well, and he felt the NFA team did exactly that. He described the whole experience in one word: “Fun.” Connor shared similar thoughts. His favorite part of Homecoming was “playing with my teammates.” When we asked why he went, he said, “I play on the soccer team, and I wanted to support my friends.” Overall, Homecoming at NFA was an exciting day full of teamwork, school spirit, and memorable moments for everyone involved.
