The Chickenburger to celebrate 84th anniversary with Northwood On Sunday, March 10, the Northwood community celebrated The Chickenburger’s 84th anniversary. All proceeds from this celebration were graciously donated to support the Northwood Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of community members. Residents and tenants at Northwood, along with locals, had the pleasure of tasting the mouth-watering flavours of The Chickenburger's renowned burgers while contributing to a meaningful cause. Since opening in 1940, The Chickenburger has held a cherished spot in the hearts of Nova Scotians, delighting generations with its delicious food and retro atmosphere.
