HALIFAX BUSINESS COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER FOR NORTHWOOD’S 22ND ANNUAL LIVE MORE AWARDS HONOURING ROB STEELE Presented by Steele Auto Group, the 22nd Annual Live More Awards welcomed over 400 guests on Saturday, June 17th, at Steele Wheels Motor Museum to honour Rob Steele with the Hedley G. Ivany Live More Award. For 22 years, the Northwood Foundation has been hosting this fundraising gala to honour people in our community that have made an impact on the lives of others. Six other pillar distinction awards were awarded to those who help Northwood be the best it can be in advocacy, innovation, research, diversity, community, and loving care. Seated amidst antique cars and even the Mystery

Machine, guests were treated to an evening of celebration and entertainment as Layne, The Auctionista, and Jimmy Rankin filled the evening with unforgettable moments. One donation led to many as this year’s fundraising goal was exceeded when the community opened their hearts and wallets, raising almost $400K to help purchase a new bus for Northwood. Northwood is the largest non-profit leader in continuing care East of Montreal, and reaches over 7,000 Nova Scotians with the programs and services that allow people to live more.
