We are delighted to welcome you to the Fall 2024 season at the Heindl Center for the Performing Arts! This season promises to be one of our most exciting yet, filled with a diverse array of performances that will enchant, entertain, and inspire audiences of all ages.
We are thrilled to kick off the season with the return of Donny Edwards: An Elite Tribute to Elvis, a spectacular show that captures the magic and energy of the King of Rock ânâ Roll. Then come laugh with comedic legend Jeff Foxworthy! Known for his relatable humor and Southern charm, Jeffâs show is sure to provide an evening of laughter and joy that you wonât want to miss.
Country music lovers will be delighted by performances from Lee Greenwood, known for his patriotic anthem âGod Bless the USA,â and country music icon Gary LeVox, the legendary voice behind the chart-topping hits of Rascal Flatts.
For families and theatre enthusiasts, Shrek: The Musical promises to be a magical and fun-filled adventure as the beloved modern fairy tale comes to life with vibrant costumes, captivating sets, and a heartwarming story.
We are also honored to host the iconic groups Tower of Power, whose electrifying blend of soul, funk, and jazz will have you dancing in your seat, and The Temptations, who will serenade you with their timeless Motown classics and smooth harmonies.

As we approach the holiday season, the angelic voices and centuries-old tradition of the Vienna Boys Choir will bring a performance that is uplifting and awe-inspiring. Finally, we are thrilled to present the celestial sounds of Grammynominated multi-platinum Irish singing sensation Celtic Woman as they bring their White Christmas Symphony Tour to our stage with Yuletide favorites, beautiful voices, and a 44-piece live orchestra, creating a magical atmosphere that captures the spirit of Christmas.

Donny Edwards is an international, multi-award-winning professional Elvis tribute artist. Today, he is one of the most sought-after performers in the business, bringing his show to stages world-wide. He is a versatile performer with the ability to re-enact each era of Elvisâ life and career. His dynamic performance will take you back to the 1950s and the early years of rock ânâ roll, getting you âall shook up,â all over again. Then youâll go on a ride through the 1960s from Elvisâ biggest hit movies to the famous black leather â68 Comeback Special. Finally, youâll revisit the legendary Las Vegas years of the 1970s as Donny recreates the performances that made Elvis the one and only âKing of Rock ânâ Roll.â

Jeff Foxworthy is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country. He is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, and best-selling author of more than 26 books. In 2014, he was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature, a style that has been compared to Mark Twainâs.
Tammy Pescatelli, one of the hardest working women in comedy today, brings brassy sexiness with a bold voice of witty sarcasm to her audiences, holding her own on the topics of sports, television, dating, and family life using tongue-in-cheek humor.

Throughout his expansive career, international country music icon Lee Greenwood has earned multiple CMA and ACM Awards, a Grammy Award, and a multitude of other prestigious awards nominations. His discography includes 22 studio albums, 7 compilation albums, 7 No. 1 hits, and 38 including songs like âIt Turns Me Inside Out,â âDixie Road,â âSomebodyâs Gonna Love You,â and âYou Got a Good Love Cominââ among others. His stand-out hit âGod Bless the U.S.A.â has been in the top five on the country singles charts three times (1991, 2001, and 2003), giving it the distinction of being the only song in any genre of music to achieve that feat. It reached the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart shortly after 9/11. Known for his stand-out patriotism and support of the U.S. military, Greenwood has been honored with the Congressional Medal of Honor Societyâs National Patriotâs Award and entertained troops on more than 30 USO Tours.
Bryan White is a CMA, ACM, and Grammy award-winning country music artist, producer, and songwriter with 6 number 1 singles, including âSo Much for Pretending,â âRebecca Lynn,â and âFrom This Moment Onâ (with Shania Twain). He has written songs for Wynonna, LeAnn Rimes, Joe Diffie, Diamond Rio, Sawyer Brown, and many others.


OCTOBER 2, 2024

âOnce upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek....â And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Yes, your favorite ogre is back in the hilarious stage spectacle based on the Oscar -winning, smash hit, DreamWorks animated film. Kimberly Akimbo Tony Award j-winning duo Jeanine Tesori (music) and David Lindsay-Abaire (book) have revisited their first collaboration to deliver a more intimate and engaging experience. With all-new original direction and choreography by Danny Mefford (Choreographer, Dear Evan Hansen), this reimagined production brings the show back to its roots - giving it a new kind of love emphasizing the importance of loving ourselves and one another.

Gary LeVox, along with bandmates Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney, founded Rascal Flatts in 2000, and they went on to enjoy one of the most successful careers in modern country music. Infusing the genreâs traditional sound with massive pop hooks, rock showmanship, and faithful positivity, they scored 17 No. 1 singles and sold over 23 million albums while also selling more than 11 million concert tickets and earning 40+ awards-show trophies, making them the most awarded country group of the last decade. And now, Gary LeVox is embarking on a solo chapter with brand new music and non-stop touring that will include all the Rascal Flatts hit songs and his legendary voice.

For over 55 years, Tower of Power has delivered the best in funk and soul music. Bump City, their 1972 debut for the label, was a hit on both the Billboard 200 and the R&B Albums chart, and netted them the hits âYouâre Still A Young Manâ and âDown to The Nightclub.â The 70s were a boom period with radio classics like âSo Very Hard to Goâ and âWhat Is Hip?,â and the band continued to tour and record over the years. In 2018, they returned to Oakland to celebrate their landmark 50th anniversary. Towerâs window-rattling grooves and raucous party spirit has been a balm for the soul throughout their half-century existence, but the release of 50 Years of Funk & Soul: Live at the Fox Theater couldnât have arrived at a better time.

The Temptations, often referred to as American music royalty, are world-renowned superstars of entertainment, revered for their phenomenal catalog of music and prolific career. They are one of the most iconic, bestselling brands in the entertainment world today. While the group has evolved over the years, Dr. Otis Williams has continued to lead the group and carry the torch forward for the next generation of Temptationsâ fans. The Temptations are headlining concerts around the country. Their concerts include fan favorites such as âMy Girl,â âJust My Imagination (Running Away with Me),â âAinât Too Proud to Beg,â âPapa Was a Rollinâ Stone,â and more.

The Vienna Boys Choir is one of the most famous and oldest choirs in the world. In 1498, Emperor Maximilian I moved his court to Vienna to establish the Chapel Imperial there along with the Vienna Boys Choir. Over the centuries, the court attracted musicians like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Anton Bruckner. Joseph Haydn, Michael Haydn, and Franz Schubert were themselves choirboys. Today, the Vienna Boys Choir is a private, non-profit organization that relies on sponsorship and donations. The Choir maintains a primary, junior, and senior high school. 300 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 19 attend the Choirâs Schools in Viennaâs Augarten park. All receive individual voice lessons and sing in one of the choirs. The Choirâs education is open to all, regardless of their origin, nationality, or religion.

Experience the magical sound of the holiday season with the celestial voices of Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum Irish singing sensation Celtic Woman. Celtic Woman is the most successful all-female group in Irish history with a legacy of 12 Billboard number ones, 10 million album sales, and over 3 billion online streams to date. In 2024, Celtic Woman celebrates an incredible 20 years. This is a rare opportunity to hear Celtic Womanâs angelic harmonies with the thrilling live sound of a full symphony orchestra in an intimate concert setting. This show features the allfemale ensembleâs favorite Yuletide songs along with Celtic Woman favorites Danny Boy, Amazing Grace, and You Raise Me Up. So, take your seat and prepare for an enchanted evening filled with holiday cheer.
