WELCOME TO NSU On behalf of our entire university, thank you for joining us for the annual Young Performers Day at Northwestern State University. Nestled in the historic city of Natchitoches, I hope you enjoy the beautiful setting that we get to experience each day as faculty, staff, and students. If you decide to explore the downtown area, you will be greeted with the Southern charm that makes this area special.

From Interstate 49, head east on University Parkway, LA-6. Turn right onto Central Avenue CAPA (Creative & Performing Arts) is ahead and on your right side Registration will be inside the CAPA building (circled above)

Kickoff - Beat SLU!!! Halftime/Halftime Performance (Leave the stands around 5:00 remaining on the 2nd quarter)

Dismissal/Enjoy the Remainder of the Game
STUDENT SUPERVISION Students will be supervised in the stadium seating during the first and second quarters. While students are being supervised, NSU Band staff will also be involved in their usual game-day operations, so a mature environment of personal responsibility is expected. Students are dismissed after the halftime performance.
EQUIPMENT All participants are responsible for their own equipment and personal belongings throughout the day. Instrument cases may be stored in the band room or brought to the field during performance periods, at the owner’s discretion. Northwestern State University and the Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged instruments, cases, equipment, or personal items.
TICKETS
(PARTICIPANT & PARENTS) Participants will be admitted to the game as part of the registration fee. Parents, friends, and family who wish to attend the game must purchase a ticket to the game. Discounted tickets can be purchased via Tau Beta Sigma prior to the game (see next page).

ORIENTATION - PLACEMENT Performer Entrance March over with the SON from CAPA Halftime Performance will face the home side
Performers are dismissed after halftime. Parents not remaining at the game can pick up students on Caspari behind the home side.
