Train and Play Whilst You Learn
Our partnership with i2i International Soccer Academy is designed to maximise your time both on the pitch and in the classroom, preparing you for a career in sports and beyond.
Soccer Development and Athlete Support Services
• Up to 15 hours of training per week across a 9-month season
• Coaching delivered by experienced UEFA-licenced coaches
• Opportunity to play for i2i’s U21 and U23 league teams and to represent NU and i2i in BUCS
• Comprehensive strength and conditioning programme
• Physiotherapy services that include injury treatment, rehabilitation and in-house sports massages
• Complimentary gym membership

Student-athletes benefit from the use of two core Northumbria campuses:
• City Campus - Your dedicated academic study base with a £30m purpose-built Sport Central facility featuring exercise and nutrition labs, a fitness centre and indoor sprint track, a 6-lane swimming pool, performance analysis pods and strength and conditioning suites
• Coach Lane Campus - Your dedicated training base with 2 full-sized allweather artificial pitches and 4 full-sized grass soccer pitches with stands and floodlights for an authentic soccer experience
