PRIMARY NEWS PRIMARY NEWS

TERM 4 | WEEK 3 | 24TH OCTOBER 2025

A MESSAGE FROM MR CHRIS DROWLEY

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have enjoyed another wonderful week of learning and connection in the Primary School.

Earlier this week, I had the privilege of attending the Ensembles Extravaganza, where many of our students showcased their musical talents. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the creativity and confidence of our young performers. What encouraged me was seeing our Year 3 students perform as part of our Strings program. They did an amazing job playing together after only being introduced to these instruments a short time ago. It was wonderful then seeing the contrast in our Senior School performances where the musicality of our students continues to grow and develop, a beautiful reminder that our skills develop over time with practice and attention along the way The input from our Music teachers has been a blessing to our students.

If you are interested in arranging further music tuition for your child through Northside Christian College please contact our Music Department via email at music@ncc.vic.edu.au or visit our College website for more information.

On Tuesday, our Year 12 students enjoyed their Final Day and final College Assembly The day included a range of special activities that our Year 12 students organised for our younger students, creating a wonderful sense of connection across the College To conclude the celebration the entire College community formed an archway for our Year 12 students to run through as we farewelled them.

Our Year 12 students will now turn their focus to preparing for their final exams I would like to commend them for their dedication and achievements throughout their years at Northside We continue to pray for God’s blessing, guidance and protection over each of them as they enter the exam period and step into new opportunities beyond Secondary School

As our students continue to learn and grow in their relationships with others, I’m reminded of this verse about kindness and friendship:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you ” Ephesians 4:32

I pray that you and your family have a restful weekend and that the peace of God fills your hearts and homes.

God bless you,
