hile many of us were catching rays at the beach, spending time with family and friends, and avoiding any form of productivity during spring break, a caring group of students from NAU used their time off of
school to give back to the community. Project GIVE is an organization on campus that gives students opportunities to volunteer at various places nearly every week. From March 18 to March 22, several members of Project GIVE participated in the club’s “Alternative Spring Break,” and provided
service for the Grand Canyon, the Murdoch Center and other areas in Flagstaff. “The GIVE stands for Get Involved in the Volunteer Experience,” said Allison Bulkeley, junior psychology major see SPRING BREAK page 15
