What to expect on the day Check-in
When you arrive at Devon House, check in at the security desk. You’ll receive your visitor pass and your programme for the day.
Food and drink
Tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits are available on the ground floor of Devon House. If you fancy something more substantial, St Katharine Docks has plenty of cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. Just ask a member of staff or a student ambassador for recommendations.
Welcome talk
Kick off your visit with an introduction to Northeastern University London. You’ll learn about our global university network and the opportunities available to students while studying with us, from building international connections to gaining experiences that can last well beyond graduation.
Discipline talks
Join a discipline talk to meet lecturers from your chosen programme and find out how it’s taught using our interdisciplinary and experiential approach. Each talk is followed by a Q&A session.
Experiential learning and employability talk
Hear how experiential learning is built into every programme, and how our careers team supports your employability throughout your studies and beyond.
Mini fair
Chat with academic advisers, student ambassadors, and specialists from student support, careers, admissions, accommodation and the Students’ Union.
Campus tour
Take a guided walking tour with one of our student ambassadors, passing several of London’s iconic landmarks. Along the way, stop at our makerspace for a hands-on activity, using a laser cutter to design and create your own personalised keyring to take home. There’s also an option to view a room at one of our accommodation providers.
Connect with other students
Community is at the heart of Northeastern University London, and we want that to start before day one. Join our Icebreaker Bingo and Collect & Connect games, a fun way to meet fellow open day visitors, some of whom could be your future classmates.
