Tammy Silvers
Banyan Batiks is excited to welcome Tammy Silvers as Design Director! A quilter for over three decades, Tammy is a successful designer and educator known across the industry. She has taught at a variety of quilt shops, online and in-person, for guilds and for major quilt shows. Her quilt patterns, designed and self-published under the label Tamarinis, have been featured in a variety of magazines and sold internationally.
Tammy enjoys working with almost any fabric, but her favorites (the ones that will make her drool, and blow a carefully constructed budget) are bold prints and batiks, making this new role designing and curating collections for Banyan Batiks a perfect fit!
“I love designing, but I also love teaching and sharing my passion for quilting. It is so much fun to get to visit different guilds, meet quilters and see all the creativity that makes this such a fun world to be a part of. Now I get to share that passion for fabric and quilting with even more folks designing batik collections for Banyan Batiks!”
