2018: Sartoria is created, combining the knowledge with the understanding of modern ceramic history. A tailored project for all those who love interior design, small sizes, colour and decoration. From these four elements a new chapter within Terratinta Group is born, aiming to create a new style that can be exported all over the world. Just like the detailed and creative creations of a tailor, Sartoria designs and fulfils distinguished ideas, giving new life to the craftsmanship of the small ceramic size. From white-body walls to gres porcelain tiles, different options designed for small and wide spaces: a unique, contrasting design, a choice between styles, a choice of style.

Dall’esperienza di una storia ceramica recente senza precedenti, nel 2018 nasce Sartoria. Un progetto su misura per chi ama l’interior design, il piccolo formato, il colore e la decorazione. Da questi quattro elementi nasce un nuovo capitolo all’interno di Terratinta Group, con l’obiettivo di creare un nuovo stile esportabile in tutto il mondo. Così come le creazioni di un sarto, meticolose e creative, Sartoria disegna e realizza grandi idee, dando nuova vita all’artigianalità del piccolo formato ceramico. Dal rivestimento in pasta bianca al porcellanato, diverse combinazioni pensate per piccoli e grandi spazi: un design unico, contrastante, una scelta di stili e di stile.

CERAMIC TRADITION AND DESIGN

Ceramic tradition and design meet, reinterpreting the handmade theme in a contemporary way thanks to modern production systems. Highly polished porcelain stoneware bricks in 6x25cm size dress the surfaces with surprising chromatic details and plays of light. Characterised by the imperfections typical of handmade majolica production, they are suitable for a wide range of wall and floors coverings. The palette is made up of neutral shades such as Latte, Argilla, Cannella, Visone and Pepe alongside brighter ones such as Foresta, Stagno and Cedro. The surface, characterised by a multiplicity of different shading, the brilliance of the glaze and the imperfect edges, lends itself to use in combination with materials of natural inspiration, to create distinctive atmospheres that give a new interpretation of Tradition ceramics, enhancing its design eclecticism.

TRADIZIONE CERAMICA E DESIGN

Tradizione ceramica e design si incontrano rielaborando il tema del “fatto a mano” in chiave contemporanea grazie ai moderni sistemi produttivi. Mattoncini lucidissimi in gres porcellanato nel formato 6x25cm rivestono le superfici con sorprendenti effetti cromatici e giochi di luce. Caratterizzati dalle imperfezioni tipiche delle produzioni artigianali delle maioliche, si prestano con versatilità a numerosi giochi di posa a pavimento e parete. La palette si compone di nuance neutre quali Latte, Argilla, Cannella, Visone e Pepe affiancati da tonalità più accese come Foresta, Stagno e Cedro.

La superficie, caratterizzata da una molteplicità di sfumature differenti, dalla brillantezza dello smalto e dai bordi imperfetti si presta ad un utilizzo combinato con materiali di ispirazione naturale, per creare atmosfere distintive che regalano una nuova lettura della ceramica della Tradizione, esaltandone l’eclettismo progettuale.
