Returning to the 3,800-seat BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas Sept. 11-13, 16, 18 and 19 at 9 p.m., “VEGAS…MY WAY!” is Marc Anthony’s firstever Las Vegas residency. A celebration of more than three decades of music, the show debuted in February and features an everchanging setlist of the global superstar’s Spanish- and English-language hits, including songs Anthony’s never performed before live. Anthony said he’s getting used to the pyro effects featured in “VEGAS…MY WAY!,” but got seared a couple of times because he’s “horrible at following cues and choreography.”
“If you look back, for many, many years, I would always end up in Vegas for my birthday, Mexican Independence Day,” Anthony told nonstoplife while en route to the studio to finish his new album. “This year is quite different, though, because now it’s my house, it’s my theater, so I’m really looking forward to it.” While there are nights Anthony ends “VEGAS…MY WAY!” by performing “My Way” in both English and Spanish, the singer admitted that he never intended to sing Frank Sinatra’s signature song during his show — it was a last-minute decision. The residency’s name actually came from the fact that if Anthony ever had the opportunity to host a concert residency in Las Vegas, he wanted fans to experience the city the way he does. “Come live Las Vegas my way — that was the genesis of ‘MY WAY!,’” Anthony explained. “When you do a residency, it’s almost like your home. It’s your living room and you’re inviting audiences in. I fell in love with that concept. Just coming downstairs and getting ready for the show, the routine of it all knowing that we’re hosting, I can’t tell you how much I enjoy it after so many years of touring.”

Celebrating its ninth anniversary on Oct. 2, Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum only continues to get more terrifying with age. Located in the 1938 Wengert Mansion, which has a documented history of dark occult rituals taking place in its basement during the 1970s, Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum is downtown Las Vegas’ eeriest attraction. Only the bravest of souls should book a tour of the museum, as visitors will come face-to-face with some of the world’s most haunted artifacts. Among the supposedly cursed items on display are The Devil’s Rocking Chair, the real-life inspiration for “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It;” Peggy, a demon-possessed doll that’s been blamed for scores of people being negatively affected by her presence; and the Dybbuk Box, believed by many to be the world’s most haunted object. The “Ghost Adventures” host regularly adds things to his museum as well, giving repeat visitors something new to haunt their nightmares. PUMPKIN & CHILI PARTY For more than 25 years, the Pumpkin and Chili Party at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek has reigned as one of the best autumn festivals in the Valley. The fourth-generation family farm offers everything you’d expect — a u-pick pumpkin patch, corn maze and hayrides — plus carnival rides, petting zoo and not-too-scary haunted train ride. (PIE) team has headed to Treasure Island Beach for the annual SportsFest competition. During SportsFest, up to 200 companies from the area come out and compete against each other in different sports challenges, including volleyball, dodgeball, cornhole, tugof-war and a relay race. Best of all, they get to spend the whole day at the beach! For Flight Attendant Melissa, SportsFest has become an annual tradition. As she celebrates 10 years with Allegiant, attending SportsFest remains one of the highlights she looks forward to most each year. The event gives her a chance to reconnect with coworkers, meet new team members, and enjoy a day of friendly competition by the water. This year also marked a first for Pilots Chuck and Tycho. After 10 and 12 years with Allegiant, neither had attended SportsFest
before. After joining the competition, they quickly discovered what makes SportsFest such a fun company tradition, and they’re already planning to compete again next year. THE CHAMPIONS OF LAS VEGAS Hosted by the City of Las Vegas, Corporate Challenge is a three-month competition where companies compete across dozens of athletic events. Corporate Challenge has become a cherished tradition for team members in Las Vegas, NV (LAS) and at our HQ campus. Every event earns points toward the overall championship, and this year was one for the history books. After three months of giving it their all, Team Allegiant claimed 1st Place overall in our division, bringing home the championship trophy for the very first time. One of the standout moments came during Track & Field, led by Team Captain Andrea, a program manager at Allegiant. Team members dominated this event, leaving the competition in the dust with a 130-point lead. Some team members hit the track for the 800-meter run, while others tested their strength with a softball throw. No matter which event it was, they came out undefeated. After an incredible season, Team Allegiant came together to celebrate their championship victory and plan for another successful year ahead.
