WHITE CANE ENTERPRISE White Cane enterprise is a group created to understand and raise awareness of the visually impaired. White cane is a tool used by visually impaired people to independently and safely navigate the world. It is also an international symbol that symbolises the independence and achievements of the visually impaired. The White Cane Enterprise has decided to donate money to an organisation operating a variety of support projects for visually impaired people in South Korea. While researching, we have found out that there are over 250,000 visually impaired people in South Korea and yet there is not enough support for them. As members of the society in which we live together with the visually impaired ones, we have thought that we should work harder to create a society where everyone, no matter if they are disabled or not are safe and have their own rights protected. After thinking about how we could go beyond and exert a positive influence on local communities through our performance, we decided to fundraise and donate to the Jeonghye Rehabilitation centre to aid the local impaired community. While the spotlight is usually on the performers, we believe that every single person involved was crucial in making this project a success. It is most definitely a result of a collective effort of not only those on stage but also the unseen supporters such as the backstage crew, students who were part of the fundraisers, and supporting staff. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who helped us with our
