N EARLY 2020, the novel coronavirus (covid-19) began to spread across the world, and one of the consequences was an economic downturn that ended years of decreasing rates of food insecurity. People who have been impacted by the pandemic the most were at risk of food insecurity even before covid-19, and they have faced greater hardships since then.
