Madras Medical College Building Height

The building's design was shaped by the unique layout of the site, as shown in the sketches. Since it's a multi-use building, it had to be carefully planned to ensure the service cores (like plumbing and electrical systems) run through different floors with various functions. For example, the 1st and 2nd floors are open-plan office spaces, while the upper floors have different types of rooms (hostel, budget, and luxury) The service cores needed to be planned to ensure the bathrooms in the rooms above were well-placed without wasting space with great views in the office which has the vent openings going through The balconies were also strategically placed to maximize the views around the site
