Ibelieve the annual NIOP convention is a very valuable gathering for our industry. In a field as large and far-reaching as ours,
it can sometimes feel like we’re all operating from our own corners of the map. The NIOP convention bridges that distance and reminds us that we’re part of a community. It’s one of the few times each year when competitors, partners, customers, and suppliers come together not just to do business, but to truly connect.
For me, the most important part of attending is the opportunity to build and maintain relationships that go far beyond emails and phone calls. You can’t replicate the value of face-to-face conversations, shared meals, or those spontaneous meet ups that lead to real partnerships. The convention gives you a chance to put faces to names, but even more than that it gives you the chance to make memories and deepen mutual trust. These are the relationships that carry our industry forward during both the smooth and the challenging times
