Only a few spots left for Oils University!

Registration for Oils University is open— and filling up fast! We’re well on our way to another sellout year, and we don’t want anyone from your company to miss out.

This two-day course, held September 24–25 in Dallas, Texas, is led by instructors from the Northern Crops Institute and offers a strong foundation in the oilseed industry. What makes it truly special is the involvement of our seasoned NIOP members & industry experts Doug Adams, Sabra Bertrand, Brian Owens, Tara Ryan, Andy Seagren, Nate Smithson, and David Tillman who work alongside attendees to bring real-world context to the material.

It’s an incredible opportunity for both learning and networking. If you have team members who would benefit from this experience, now is the time to get them signed up!

NIOP’sOngoingEngagementwithEOPAandthe MAHAMovement

NIOP has been actively participating in conversations with the Edible Oil Producers Association (EOPA) and is proud to support their efforts to meet the growing MAHA movement with facts, science, and industry expertise.

Through this collaboration with EOPA, NIOP was made aware of a recent opportunity to submit public comments through CASE (Consumer Action for a Strong Economy), a non-partisan consumer advocacy group. CASE is working with an independent academic expert to review these public comment submissions and publish an objective, publicly available report addressing the negative claims surrounding seed oils. The comment period closed on Friday, July 18, and we hope many of you took the opportunity to contribute thoughtful insights on the science, facts, and potential business impacts of the movement.

NIOP remains committed to advocating for the oilseed industry. We will continue to keep our members informed of additional opportunities to engage and support fact-based dialogue.
