WARRANTIES All Down Cross Lambs are sold as Ewe and Wedder mixed unless otherwise stated. Lambs sold as Ewe Lambs not conforming to warranty and Wedder Lambs being improperly castrated, claims must be intimated within 14 days. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that any animals destined for the food chain are out with any withdrawal period. This includes Antibiotics, Anthelmintics or Sheep Dip that the seller may have given prior to sale. The auctioneers shall not be liable in any way for any deficiencies in either the vendor’s tagging of his sheep nor the reading equipment being used at the CPRC in accordance with the EID Regulations nor any reading or print out produced by the said equipment.

Notice to Vendors and Purchasers Scottish BVD Eradication It is the responsibility of each Vendor to ensure that Vendor declarations in relation to the Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (“BVD”) status of all animals provided to Auctioneers are accurate declarations and so far as the Vendor is aware are not misleading as at the date of sale. However, Purchasers should be aware that an accurate Vendor declaration cannot absolutely guarantee that any animal or progeny from any animal is free from BVD or is not a persistently infected (“PI”) animal.- Auctioneers cannot accept any responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any Vendor declarations and no warranties or guarantees whatsoever are given by the Auctioneers in relation to such Vendor declarations or in relation to the BVD or PI status of any animal. CONSIGNORS ARE ADVISED THAT IT IS THEIR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THE CORRECT PASSPORTS FOR EACH SELLING LOT ARE LODGED IN THE OFFICE PRIOR TO SALE. PLEASE ENSURE ALL PASSPORTS ARE SIGNED.
All calving cows and heifers are guaranteed in calf unless otherwise stated at time of sale. Claims must be intimated within 49 days from the date of sale and be accompanied by a Veterinary Surgeon’s certificate stating ear number of animal and the defaulting party will be responsible for all expenses incurred. Cows and Heifers with calves at foot are to be free of calf at time of sale unless otherwise declared. TO ENABLE OUR MARKET TO COMPLY WITH CURRENT LEGISLATION, WE REQUEST THAT ALL LIVESTOCK FROM SALE ON 31st OCTOBER BE UPLIFTED BY MIDDAY FRIDAY 1st November
