Nikhil Tanawade Organised A Mass Marriage for Poor Families
There have been cases when farmers sell their land and his goods to get her daughter married. Just for the happiness of the girl child, fathers put the whole family’s future in stake. Nikhil Tanawade aims to eliminate this by organizing mass marriage for underprivileged families twice a year. A total of 51 underprivileged couples tied knots with the help of Nikhil Tanawade on 21st July 2019. The mass marriage took place in Delhi’s Shastri Nagar. It allowed people from an underprivileged background to get married like a regular marriage ceremony. Benefits of Mass Marriage
Dowry and Debt free weddings: The primary law of any mass marriage is no dowry will be asked and since the couple doesn’t pay for their marriage, it is completely a debt and stress-free situation.
Promoted communal harmony: Nikhil Tanawade ensured that couples of all the religions were present for the marriage and all of them tied knots according to their customs and religion at the same time in order to promote communal harmony.
