Creating a Clay Lamp Design with the theme Sea Life
The Main Two Images that stood out to me

The texture and shapes caught my eye.
Reference Images & Inspiration

Here I've generated different progression structures for the lamp I've created, seeing which ideas were more suitable and realistic using coloured pencils.
I have created different types of clay sculptures to show the development of different textures.

These are some of the ideas I came up with in relation to deciding how the light would be displayed, creating mini sculptures and how to make the lamp functional with replacing the light bulb with ease. Lighting & models

30 cm High DEC 2024

This is my Final Clay Lamp Design wet before it has been fired showing what the lamp would look without the light inside.

This is my Final Clay Lamp design after being fired showing the light being distributed through the tentacle's suckers.
my project

These are the main three pictures that caught my eyes as they all symbolise connection.

Using Black, grey and white pencils on brown paper.

Portraits Using Sketch Book App

These two photoshopped photos looked the most like the path I would like to take in this project showing connection between two and maps.
Using led pencil and black pencil on a map.

Craved a vinal to print with printing paint. DEC 2025 – JAN 2026

Red symbolises the connection between me and my sister. Using Vinals to create different prints, playing with the different colours and contrast. Used red rope, pages from book, brown paper, a map and pen to draw faces.
Me and My Sister Using IT (Sketch Book App)

I made portraits of me and my sister as it goes along the theme of connections in relation to family.

Used coloured pens to experiment with colours together in a living room.

Used Black ballpoint pen to create a vintage style bedroom.

Used Blue ballpoint pen and led pencil to draw staircase.

Used coloured pens and a blue ballpoint pen to generate a bedroom.
Painting made up buildings with wax and printing.
I used the first paper with still wet paint to print over the top of another paper. This allowed the artwork to reveal itself in a gentler way.

Using brown crayon on old newspaper to draw a building.

I used a wax stick to draw out a building then rolled out blue paint over the top. This created a washed-out rustic effect which fits wells with the oldstyle building.
Drawing a church bell using a blue ballpoint pen.

Using orange pen and blue ballpoint pen to draw brick arch.
Using black ballpoint pen to draw an arch.

I used cardboard for the structure of the building with paper to show different patterns and textures. I outlined the house in red as it gave it a nice contrast between the brown carboard.

I used cardboard, toothpicks and a hot glue gun to secure it all down to create a house.
