SAM LAFFERTY #37
Sam Lafferty of Hollidaysburg became the first Blair County player to appear in a National Hockey League game this past season.
Lafferty played in 50 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, scoring six goals and adding seven assists. He managed 56 shots on goal.
The 24-year-old rookie, a 2014 Pens’ draft pick, played collegiately at Brown University.
