now months pen in hand......pad in front of me...yet still no words. It was as if the light that burns within my passion had dimmed.

appy August beautiful people! By a raise of hands, who has struggled with identity? I know I have. And honestly, those lies will try to creep up every now and then. But, in the world we live in now, with everyone having an opinion and trying to tell us what’s “right” and what’s “wrong”, I wanted to share some truth with you. This is a message I had to tell myself one day when I was just going through it (cause that happens every now and then) and I hope it helps you too... Your identity doesn’t lie in a degree. It doesn’t lie in how many people are close to you, or even what others say about you. Your significance doesn’t lie in what you do for others or how many people you can help. It’s time to stop hiding behind always being busy and actually sit, rest, and deal with who you see in the mirror. If your friends left, you lost your job, you

he COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on me as a musical artist. Numerous music events, including music festivals, concert, tours and award shows were cancelled or postponed which caused a financial burden and a shortage in income. While some artist were able to use the time to create new songs and albums I endured a writers block.

fter months of enduring the detrimental effects of the coronavirus I still believe that GOD IS IN CONTROL.....I believe that God is using this pandemic to change how I create songs to where I am totally relying on hearing his voice so in order to reignite my passion for songwriting I plan on fasting, praying and consecrating myself to gain inspiration directly from God that will take His kingdom to the next level through my songwriting.

normally get inspiration for songs through life experiences and you would think this pandemic being a major new impactful life experience would allow me to birth out powerful songs but yet as I sat in my music room for hours...days....weeks and
