Unconventional, unorthodox, and unapologetically me when it comes to ministry.
She believes the Word of God as stated in Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” However, she knows that the changes in society and time mean that we must change how we convey the Word of God to this new generation. Nia’s ministry is to the downtrodden, the outcasts, and to those the church has given up on. She has a strong love and compassion for these types of people; she understands that deep feeling of rejection all too well. At one point, it was her. Her mission is to engage millennials with uncommon practices in inistry— practices that actually appeal to them. She then equips them with the Word of the God and all the necessary armor that they need for today’s battles. Finally, she sends them forth, empowered that they may bring others into the Kingdom of God.

rowing up for me was a little different. I am an only child and my parents are both ministers. I grew up in church my entire life. This kind of “megachurch movement” we now see and experience currently that focuses more on programs instead of power or miracles happening. I saw healings, I saw the miraculous and the Glory of God growing up. So I knew from a very young age what was real and what was counterfeit. I started leading worship (playing guitar and singing) when I was 12yrs old and wanted to be a worship leader. I had a big dream and an even bigger calling on my life. I grew up in a small church in Bandera TX, about 40mins outside
of San Antonio TX and I had no idea how to get where I believed God was going to take me. As we fast forward a few years, I was 17yrs old, had been extremely hurt by the “Church” so I was really trying to navigate through “religion” or “relationship” with God. I wrote and released my first radio single that charted to number 1 on multiple radio stations in the U.S and Europe called All This Time in 2014. Little did I know GOD had a plan that was always in motion for my life and was going to use that song to launch my music career. My single “Got a Feelin” has been played on number #1 radio stations in the U.S and all over the world including iHeart Radio, SiriusXM Kirk Franklin’s

n 2001 my wife and I had been in ministry for three years. I was eight years on the Philadelphia Police Department, newly married to my wife with two daughters, one son and one kid on the way. We were holding weekly night service, and outreach ministry in some two thousand square feet commercial building. Everything was great. But as with everything trials come your way. Both of us had strong faith even before we met. To us, the ministry was everything so when members failed to pay tithes we sowed everything we had to keep the doors of the church open. It’s been years now we’ve been solely financing the ministry off of one salary, and not to mention taking care of a family of five. And as a result, our bills fail behind.
We lived for months without electric and continued to hold regular services. One morning I entered the apartment living room, and my television came on. Amazed, I called my wife and asked if anyone had found out what we were going through and had paid our bill. No one had paid our bill, and our meter box had been padlocked. A miracle took place. God provided a supernatural provision of electric throughout the winter. The entire ordeal was a test of our faith, especially when faced with the reality of the lack of love people have for God and the truth of his word. It was also challenging to cope with financial issues due to a lack of members paying tithes and offerings. We held on, and in the end, God rewarded our faith with a supernatural provision
