A nurse practitioner is a highly sought-after healthcare provider with many exciting career opportunities. At Niagara, you will experience a comprehensive education that combines theoretical and experiential learning methods to prepare you for an advanced practice role as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

• Clinical rotations for domestic students secured directly by the College of Nursing, with advisement for Canadian students • Hybrid coursework to meet the needs of working professionals • Low Residency: 1 day on campus per week

The M.S. Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program is designed to prepare individuals with advanced education, clinical experience, and professional development in order to serve as caring and compassionate clinicians in the primary care setting. Graduates of this program are eligible to sit for FNP national board certification offered by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
