NHPTV Connections Harry's Flings & Sidney's Crime Solving Mr. Selfridge: Closing Hours
The final season follows the unpredictable arc of Harry Selfridge's career to its thrilling climax, charting the fate of the showman with the big heart, shaky morals, and dogged belief that the dice roll will save him—and the store—every time. The series opens in 1928, nine years after season three, to find Harry Selfridge at the pinnacle of his power and public celebrity – a retail giant at the heart of the Roaring Twenties. A man-abouttown in London and often gambling glamorously abroad, rumours of Harry’s latest fling light up the social circuit at Victor Colleano’s new nightspot, which is bigger and more decadent than ever. Harry's daughters return to London, as does Lady Mae. This is a time of rapid change, where nothing and nobody wants to stand still and contemplate. Fashions and musical tastes are evolving. It is a new and modern world with the crackle of radio and exciting new technologies.

March 2016 Granite State Smarts
As a father and grandfather, I'm constantly reminded of all that PBS and NHPTV offer to our children, from pre-school to high school. We are a resource for parents, educators and kids by bringing them informative PBS KIDS programs, workshops and special events. Our newest project is a perfect example. STEM from the START is an educational service for kids and educators focused on learning science, technology, engineering and mathematics. To learn more and see a preview visit nhptv.org/stem. Also, our NHPTV KIDS Writers Contest offers K-5 students the opportunity to write and illustrate original stories. The contest closes March 31st, for more information and submission details visit nhptv.org/kidswrite. And, Granite State Challenge brings together the top academic teams from high schools across the state to show off their smarts. You can play along at home, too, at nhptv.org/gsc. Thanks to your generous support, we're able to provide resources beyond broadcast that help our local communities. Thank you. Peter Frid, NHPTV President & CEO
Grantchester Returns
Reverend Sidney Chambers and Inspector Geordie Keating, bring justice and spiritual nourishment to their small town in early 1950s England. Still unresolved from last season is Sidney's love life. Handsome, worldly-wise, and virtuous, he should be an ideal catch. And at least one very promising female companion turns up in the new series. But will Sidney scare her away with his unconventional tastes? The new season's cases include a shocking charge of sexual assault implicating a pillar of the community; an apparent suicide from the college spire that takes on Cold War overtones; a confession to murder in which the alleged victim is still very much alive; a haunted stable with links to the Holocaust, and more.
